Characteristics of Ceramic Rope
- Great Flexibility: ceramic fiber square has greater flexibility than ceramic fiber board. So it can fill up the corners or gaps. It can easily be bent to any shape to suit different places. So it is usually used for sealing the door in high-temperature equipment.
- Chemical Resistance: Ceramic fiber braided rope can resist most chemical solutions except HF, phosphoric acid, and strong alkaline. It benefits from a steady chemical structure. In this situation, ceramic rope can resist the severe environment in the high-temperature equipment.
- Low Thermal Conductivity: Ceramic fiber has low thermal conductivity. So ceramic fiber square braided rope can insulate the heat in the high-temperature equipment.
