Features of Alumina Silicon Carbide Composite Brick
- High Refractoriness: Alumina silicon carbide bricks have high refractoriness. The under load temperature is more than 1550℃. So they can be used in high-temperature environments and keep a stable volume. In this situation, using this brick as the lining of high temperature can prolong the service time.
- Great Wear Resistance: High alumina silicon carbide bricks have great wear resistance because of the steady chemical structure. The bulk density of Kerui bricks is 2.55-2.65g/cm³. In this situation, the wear resistance of high alumina silicon carbide brick is better than high alumina brick. So they can used for rotary kilns.
- Good Thermal Shock Resistance: Silica mullite bricks contain SiC. SiC has a low thermal expansion that can improve thermal shock resistance. High alumina silica carbide bricks can undertake more than 85MPa in cold crushing strength.
- High Temperature Compressive Strength: Kerui bricks have excellent temperature compressive strength. They can sustain a stable structure in 10 cycles of thermal shock resistance (1100℃, Water Cooling). In this situation, they are used for abrasion parts of high-temperature equipment.
